The Hollowbody

Our new hollow body is not really a model as much as
a new construction method. The only limitations from this design
are the need for a top mounted pickup ring for bridge and middle
position pickups and the inability to accommodate a trem bridge.
Otherwise, it can be used with most of our configurations.
Tonally, this design complements our longer scale length beautifully. It adds a lot of acoustic snap and string presence and enhances the clarity even further. Because the top is glued to both the bridge block and neck block, feedback, usually a significant issue with a hollow body, is almost completely eliminated. And as an added plus, it brings the weight of the guitar below 6lbs making it our most comfortable Swan yet. |
