THE BODY

THE SEMI-HOLLOW

Most of our bodies have the same basic construction: a solid center core flanked by a single elongated chamber on the bass side and two adjacent chambers on the treble side.  In our standard construction, the bass side chamber runs virtually the entire length of the body.  For custom orders, a partially chambered body is available with an abbreviated bass side chamber.

THE FULL HOLLOW

We also offer a fully hollowed body.  Instead of a solid center block running the length of the body with chambers on either side as we have in our standard design, the hollow body has a short block that extends from the neck pocket to the rear of the neck pickup.  There is also a small block of wood under the bridge.  The bent top is glued to the edge, and the neck block and the bridge block which prevents feedback at almost any volume level.
THE NECK

The standard neck is constructed from a single piece of maple with a pair of graphite reinforcing rods running the length of the fingerboard.  (Other woods and a three piece laminated neck are available as options).  The fingerboard features a very flat 16 inch radius.  The peg head tilts back at a 10 degree angle.  The vintage style one-way truss rod keep the weight down and is conveniently accessible from the top of the neck.

The neck is available in three profiles:  The American Standard (AmStan); the Original; and the 900 Soft-V.  The thickness for the AmStan is .810 at the first fret and .890 at the octave.  The thickness of the original is .775 at the first fret and .850 at octave.  The 900 Soft-V is .90 at the first fret and 1.0 at the octave.  Other profiles are available on a custom basis.  The width at the nut for all profiles is  1 11/16th inches.
