J278 - Maple / Swamp Ash Gosling Single Coil - Available Now - $2600

This is our first guitar featuring our newest neck profile. We've dubbed it "The Stubby" and it's a very comfortable handful. It's .915" at the first fret growing to 1' with a shape that's about half way between a soft V and a gentle C. I think it's the most comfortable neck shape we've ever used.

This is my personal guitar. I consider it to be a very special instrument combining single coil clarity with a wonderful warmth and sweetness. It's not a model that we make any more, and I think it would be appropriate for me to be playing a guitar that's in our current lineup, so I'm making this guitar available (as I seem to do about once a year).

The condition is very clean with a slight bit of wear in the finish on the end of fingerboard (as happens on every guitar that I play for any length of time) and a couple blemishes in the nitro finish on the peghead.

This is a one off custom Swan that we built for a customer in 2008. We're building him another custom guitar now and he's asked us to help him sell this one. It wil be available around late August when his new guitar is complete.
